About NFT artist Gabriele Croppi
Croppi reportedly became globally famous in the international photography scene with his ‘Metaphysics of the Urban Landscape’ series.
After more than a decade, the artist chooses to launch his new Urban Souls collection, in which the characters from his best-known images are given a new life.
The project was created thanks to the collaboration of Gabriele Croppi, Qiibee and Lampi, which opened the doors for the artist to the world of NFT, experimenting with the innovation of new tools of artistic expression and communication.
Not only that, according to Croppi, this new technology will help establish a more personal and loyal connection directly with his current and future fans.
In this regard, here is how Croppi commented:
“Art must continuously innovate, both in content and methodology. I am curious to experiment with the NFT medium and with new platforms that integrate with traditional methods and content. The future requires us to always dare and test”.
NFTs: the future of personalized, fan-driven art
By releasing the three NFTs in an open auction, Croppi’s aim is precisely to merge the traditional artistic expressions of the past with the modern forms of execution that can be achieved thanks to blockchain technology and new tech.
Not only that, in order to connect with his fans, the artist wants to celebrate their contributions by integrating unique, unlockable content that will impact the final collection of ‘Urban Souls’ through unique portraits of the buyers.
Essentially, by winning one of Croppi’s three NFT Urban Souls, the buyer will receive:
- The limited-edition printed on Hahnemuhle cotton paper, ‘Giclée’ Fine Art technique, 22x22cm.
- An exclusive meeting with the artist in Milan, for a private photoshoot.
- A portrait of the buyer, to be included in the “Urban Souls” series.
All of this is possible because NFTs offer a simple and effective verification system that allows fans easier access to the new collection, as well as allowing greater flexibility for the artist to release new unlockable content when they see fit.
