The “Green NFT” platform and iHeartMedia have partnered to give away one million free NFTs to music fans starting 31 August.
Free NFTs
“Green NFT” is an NFT platform created by OneOf for all music fans, while iHeartMedia is the organiser of the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2021, which returns to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 17 and 18 September, featuring many music stars.
The two companies have joined forces to create official collectible NFTs for the event. Starting today on OneOf.com, users will be able to claim a free NFT “poker chip” from iHeartRadio Music Festival, every day until September 14, and while supplies last, with the goal of collecting an entire set.
Once a set is completed, users will be able to receive a free NFT of limited edition digital art by NFT artist Cory Van Lew, and also automatically enter a contest raffling off a OneOf flyaway experience for two to attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2021 in Las Vegas.
The artworks
Cory Van Lew’s unique, limited edition digital artworks to be distributed are inspired by the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2021 and OneOf’s ethos of “Artist First”, “For All Fans” and “Eco-Responsible”. Whereas the NFT artwork on the upper levels also includes digital autographs of artists performing at the festival, and will be made available to fans who make a donation. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance and their global human rights partner the United Nations.
Quincy Jones in the NFT world
OneOf is backed by the legendary Quincy Jones, former producer of Michael Jackson, and its platform is designed specifically for the music community. It is built on the Tezos blockchain, and can mint NFTs at a very low cost, so much so that artists can offer their NFTs to their fans for as little as $1, or even for free.
The aim is to make these new digital assets truly accessible to all.
Donations on OneOf can be made via credit or debit cards in 150 FIAT currencies powered by CheckOut.com.
Chief Marketing Officer at iHeartMedia, Gayle Troberman, said:

OneOf co-founder CEO Lin Dai added:
“Our goal is to make NFTs accessible to the everyday fans, regardless of economic or technical backgrounds.
Our technology makes affordable and environmentally friendly NFTs possible for music artists and fans, and we are excited to launch our platform fulfilling that promise to the music fans, with 1 million free NFTs in partnership with iHeart, a powerhouse in music”.
