There’s a lot going on in the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with games, crypto art and sports. New artists are joining this space, including Snoop Dogg. 

Snoop Dogg and NFTs

Two days ago the famous rapper Snoop Dogg revealed that he is the millionaire NFT collector Cozomo de’ Medici. In August, Cozomo had opened an account on OpenSea and started buying non-fungible tokens for $17 million.

In addition, a few hours ago Snoop Dogg also announced a collaboration with the Sandbox metaverse where he will recreate his home.

The rapper explained.

“I’m always on the look-out for new ways of connecting with fans and what we’ve created in The Sandbox is the future of virtual hangouts, NFT drops and exclusive concerts. We’ll have a fresh set of Dogg style NFTs that players can integrate into the game experiences to take this online experience to the next level for sure”

Lightnite, the game to earn Bitcoin and NFTs

Lightnite is a new online multiplayer game set within Fortnite, which today announced the launch of bitcoin (BTC) and NFT rewards. This will take place on 21 November.

Today Friday 24 September at 6 PM CET, for the first time, crypto art will land in a public space in Milan. The exhibition entitled “Photografing Ideas” will open at the “Casa del pane” during the Milano Photofestival.

The NFT art gallery in Lugano, in collaboration with Raffaella Silbernagl and the artist Maurizio Gabbana, will present a selection of NFT artworks for the first time in Milan.

Sorare and NFT with Kosmos

Sorare has partnered with footballer Gerard Piqué’s Kosmos and will launch NFTs of Diego Maradona, Fabio Cannavaro, Michel Platini and Marco van Basten starting today, 24 September. It begins today with Ronaldo Nazário’s “legendary card”.

Sorare and Kosmos have also collaborated to release a miniseries of documentaries on each football legend and his NFT.

These interviews will be available on the channels of the players and those of Sorare. 

Gerard Piqué, President of Kosmos and FC Barcelona player explained:

“To be able to rely on the greatest players in the world of football in this first venture into the world of NFTs and, on top of that, to do it with the help of Sorare, is an achievement for Kosmos,” 

“Having the digital rights to these big names in our sport makes us pioneers in the world of blockchain and e-sports”.
