What Makes Syn City Unique?

One of the most enticing features of Syn City is that it leverages a cutting-edge gaming engine to bring real-world NFT utilities and the functioning of a decentralized finance system closer. Moreover, the game follows the Free to Play – Play to Earn model.

Developed by a team of industry veterans from companies like Disney, Ubisoft, Roblox, EA, Gameloft, Google, Yahoo, and Twitter, Syn City has initiated a new type of governance system known as MaaD or Mafia-as-a-DAO. Here, gamers can form syndicates among themselves to play and earn together. Earning channels include daily events like PvE, PvP, and other cross-chain tournaments.

Roy Liu, the co-founder of Syn City, worked as the ex-Head of Business and Marketing of TRON. Liu holds 13 years of experience in gaming and crypto. Liu Believes it is not fair to “ask people to pay $1000 hard-earned money before they can play or earn from the game.” In adherence to this philosophy, Syn City follows the Free to Play model offering everyone “an equal right to be able to play and earn.” Liu also sees this as an appropriate model to follow in the times of cryptocurrencies and the more democratic paradigm of decentralized finance.

Robin Chan, the general partner of Goat Capital, believes that Syn City’s model would be a gamechanger in the domain of Mafia Metaverses.

The genesis launch of the community will see the first 10,000 Syn City members on its Discord server (discord.gg/syncity) taking part in a Mystery Mafia giveaway hosted by well-known celebrities.
