In partnership with One Mercuri, a multi-venture company with business lines across media technology, talent management, sports, entertainment and media marketing, Aqilliz is launching WishWorld with the aim of getting fans to interact directly with celebrities in the metaverse.
On Valentine’s Day, WishWorld will release the first set of exclusive goods from music maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
The NFT marketplace of music and entertainment
WishWorld will be the new NFT marketplace focused on music and entertainment, signed by Aqilliz and One Mercuri.
In practice, with the expansion of WishWorld, fans will be able to access exclusive video clips and images, unreleased tracks or unplugged versions of songs, and connect with other fans to exchange these digital goods on the platform.
Speaking about this, Gowthaman Ragothaman, CEO of Aqilliz said:

Music personalities land in the world of Non-Fungible Tokens
WishWorld’s new NFT marketplace is not exactly the first of its kind for music and entertainment.
Indeed, there are other platforms that have become famous in the sector, such as OneOf, the NFT marketplace for sustainable music created on Tezos, which closed a first round of financing for $63 million in May 2021.
Not only that, OneOf earlier this month announced its new expansion into the world of sports, launching a new NFT marketplace in partnership with Sports Illustrated.
The goal of this partnership is to create and distribute new NFT collections highlighting superstar athletes, inspired by their most famous covers.
