The Solana Hacker House world tour has reached Prague today, on the back of a world tour where the Solana Foundation visited Los Angeles, Singapore, and Hong Kong, to kick off this year’s House World Tour.
Developers will be attending the Hacker House, on the final stage of its tour, which will feature a co-working space for builders to collaborate alongside other builders and notable people in the ecosystem.
The Prague-based event will take place from the 1st-5th March, and is an offline event that provides developers with a space to collaborate and participate in the Solana ecosystem.
Viktor Fischer, Managing Partner and founder of Rockaway noted:
“Cryptocurrencies and blockchain have a long tradition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia since 2011, when, for example, SlushPool, Trezor or Paralelni Polis were established. Our goal is to make Czechia and Slovakia more visible as a Central European hub for the development of blockchain technologies. That is why The Solana Foundation x Rockaway Hacker House will be held in Prague this March. Developers will have a great opportunity to learn how development works on Solana and move the entire ecosystem ahead through their own projects,”
Solana’s global ‘hacker houses’ comes on the back of global interest in Solana hackathons, which has seen over 568 projects participate in the last event, called Ignition which took place last year between August and October. Unlike the virtual hackathon, this series of hacker houses runs in several cities across the world and includes communal working space and networking opportunities.
The ‘Ethereum Killer’ is currently leading the market rally, despite dropping slightly over the past 24 hours, Solana is still rising from lows of $80.83 on Jan. 24.
