LONDON, 19 May, 2022 – Zilliqa, a high-performance, high-security, and low fee Layer-1 blockchain protocol, has just launched the Web3 Alliance, an international advisory network tasked with identifying promising cross-vertical projects, and brokering introductions that lead to an investment.
The new Web3 Alliance of Zilliqa blockchain
The Web3 Alliance programme will act as an extension of the Zilliqa team with advisors or ‘scouts’ joining who share Zilliqa’s vision of the long-term Web3 opportunity. This hand-picked network will be activated to source ideas and opportunities across various channels and engage different audiences to ensure that Zilliqa has comprehensive coverage globally.
When a project recommendation leads to an investment (equity or token), the facilitating advisor will be compensated in ZIL, the platform’s native token. The amount of ZIL will vary depending on ticket size, and will be rewarded post-investment.
With the support of the Web3 Alliance, the team plans to further build the innovative functionalities available within Zilliqa’s decentralised ecosystem. They will do this by helping new projects scale up through access to funding, advisory services, and a strong network of talent.
The Web3 Alliance will give the community direct access to industry experts and their broad, collective experience to help translate ideas into reality — through a consultative or hands-on approach. This will help Zilliqa extend its reach, visibility, and access to founders and projects across different industries, such as the metaverse, gaming, and NFTs — adding to the 250 dApps already built.
Dr. Ben Livshits, CEO of Zilliqa, said:
“Blockchain technology lends itself very well to a broad variety of applications and verticals. Zilliqa has already been delivering innovative solutions in the fields of finance, gaming, art, entertainment, and more.
But there are plenty of people and projects out there thinking of capitalising on blockchain technology who aren’t yet aware of what Zilliqa is or how we can help them. It’s why we’re enlisting the help of our dedicated community through the Web3 Alliance — to educate them on what Zilliqa is truly capable of, and to bring more people and projects onto Zilliqa.”
Bradley Laws, Head of Investor Relations at Zilliqa, added:
“In the ethos of decentralisation, Zilliqa believes in collaboration and a truly open way of working together. We also know that great ideas can start from anywhere. An international advisory network expands our coverage of Web3 investment opportunities and enables us to attract the best to build on Zilliqa. Scouts become advocates for Zilliqa and are incentivised to build the community with us.”
Zilliqa is now accepting applications for the position of Web3 Alliance advisor or scout. Interviews with members of the Zilliqa team will be conducted as part of the process to better understand each candidate’s background, intentions and capabilities. Apply today.”
