Tamadoge (TAMA) became a sensation the moment it opened for presale. On the 25th of July, 2022, the developers of this meme coin could not have known how much Tamadoge (TAMA) would take off.
A unique currency and play-to-earn metaverse game with NFTs, Tamadoge (TAMA) has a retro platform style and is a member of the doge meme token family.
To say the presale did well would be a vast understatement. Tamadoge’s (TAMA) presale had planned to end during the fourth quarter of 2022, however, a total of 1 billion TAMA tokens were sold in just under eight weeks. That equates to over $15 million raised, making it one of the most successful meme coin presales to date.
However, looking at TAMA’s price valuations on coinmarketcap.com and the graph now tells a much different tale. As the new meme coin, Big Eyes Coin, performs just as well in its presale, does this show that Tamadoge (TAMA) will no longer be the talk of the town?
Tamadoge: all bark and no bite
A lot was riding on Tamadoge (TAMA) to become a beacon of light during the dark crypto winter. Just looking at its presale, it would not be wrong to believe that this meme coin would become a sensation. Reportedly, a crypto whale even bought 55.8 Ethereum (ETH) worth of Tamadoge (TAMA) in the hope it would generate record-breaking profits. Today that would be around $73,000.
Unfortunately, many believed Tamadoge (TAMA) would be above the bear market. And for a while, it was. After the meme coin was released to the market, Tamadoge’s (TAMA) price briefly shot up to almost $0.2. Hopes were high that Tamadoge (TAMA) would become the meme coin of the year.
Things began to take a sharp turn on the 4th of October, just one week after TAMA’s public release. Since then, TAMA’s price has dropped and is likely to fall further in the future. Although investors haven’t completely lost their money yet, the frustration of investors in the comments section of coinmarketcap.com is clear for all to see. One holder writes, “80% down on my investment… whales dumped their coins on retail, this scam is going to zero”.
Big Eyes Coin Is Set To Outdo Tamadoge After Already Raising $6.5 In Its Presale
One thing crypto-enthusiasts do not need right now is another hype train crashing into a brick wall. It is a bear market, investments are a risk, and people do not want to waste their money on a meme token that will not come to fruition. If there is any lesson to be learnt from Tamadoge (TAMA) is that even if a presale is successful, a coin needs to have utility to win the markets.
In many ways, Big Eyes Coin (BIG) could be seen as the spiritual successor of Tamadoge (TAMA) after raising almost $7 million in its presale. However, some essential differences put this meme token in a far better position to face a crypto winter.
Big Eyes Coin Self Propagation For Growth Is Why It Will Perform Better Than Tamadoge
Most meme tokens have no real utility other than their cultural value. Big Eyes Coin (BIG) is different. A dedicated 5% marketing wallet from the total BIG supply is ensuring Big Eyes Coin has a strong social media presence and the backing of numerous crypto influences such as Ieda Wobeto (@iedawobetoreal). This is keeping the persona of Big Eyes alive and kicking as the community of this cute cat grows beyond the realm of crypto-pros.
Another strong aspect of Big Eyes Coin’s survival is in the NFT Sushi Crew, a place for NFT holders to build a community and participate in events relating to Big Eyes’ environmental message.
Perhaps the best evidence of Big Eyes Coin’s (BIG) future success is its uniqueness as a cat meme token. Not only does Big Eyes have its own personal narrative, but it is at the precipice of an untapped crypto market. One that has been overrun by dog clones for far too long.
