Layer-2 protocol integrations (which are Layer-1 favorites) bring along users with them because it offers lower fees. For Arbitrum, other reasons include a rumored airdrop and some outflow from FTX. This hints at Layer-2 adoption and will encourage even more integrations to take place — creating more activity.
