Scaling Ethereum with the OP Stack

Optimism is a unique project in the scaling wars. It doesn’t aim to be the “first” to market or even to capture the most users on a general-purpose L2; rather, its strategy is to sustainably fund the infrastructure that will proliferate composable, Ethereum-centric chains. Optimism’s strategy is to build on and for Ethereum. The OP Stack represents a new paradigm for open-source collaboration and protocol design.
