- The Arbitrum community introduces a pilot program for a long-term incentive distribution plan.
- In the middle of the SEC legal case, TRON’s founder revived the previously dissolved TRON Foundation.
While TRON (TRX) and Arbitrum (ARB) are on opposite sides of the top 10 altcoins list, analysts anticipate big things for these projects in 2024. Rebel Satoshi ($RBLZ) is another name expected to make a breakthrough this year in the meme coin industry.
It’s experiencing an in-demand presale, which is nearly wrapping up soon before a highly-anticipated official listing. Luckily, time is still on the side of keen investors to join!
Rebel Meme Culture, DeFi, And Community-Building Converge in Rebel Satoshi.
Rebel Satoshi is a rebel-themed meme token modeled after Satoshi Nakamoto and Guy Fawkes to promote decentralized finance, flying in the face of the current financial system. It’s also a unity-building project where members access virtual gatherings and interactive quests. Some will be fortunate enough to be inducted into the Rebel Meme Hall of Fame with their best rebel-themed memes as voted by other members.
Rebel Satoshi is set on reaching $100 million in market cap, making it a considerable meme crypto to buy. It offers an attractive ecosystem with aspects taken from the best DeFi projects like staking and NFT trading.
Staking will be necessary to boost liquidity, maintain blockchain security, and provide users with low-effort passive income. The same users can also participate in a soon-to-be-launched marketplace with 9,999 of the coolest NFTs based on symbolic characters and collectibles related to RebelSatoshi.
The $RBLZ token enables these perks, along with exclusive ones like insider updates and governance power. It has increased by 120% in Rebel Satoshi’s presale (beginning in November 2023), from $0.010 in the first round to $0.022 in the current and last.
It’s not only significant that $RBLZ will rise 13.6% to $0.025 after the presale. Rather, it’s the potential for a greater surge once it’s available on exchanges next month, according to the developers.
Let’s now cover the latest news for Arbitrum and Tron.
Arbitrum Launches Long-Term Incentive Pilot Program Proposal Vote
With the success of the STIP (Short-Term Incentives Program), the Arbitrum community is experimenting with a longer version. A proposal vote is underway to test this new long-term incentive structure.
The standout element is the distribution of 25 to 45 million ARB tokens to Arbitrum-based protocols over 12 weeks. As with the STIP, the goal is to motivate developers to innovate on Arbitrum, equaling a healthy and diverse ecosystem.
Surprisingly, Arbitrum has shown inconsistencies in several on-chain metrics (according to Artemis) except for one: total value locked (TVL). Arbitrum has kept making high after high in this regard, boasting a figure of $2.66 billion.
Similarly, the ARB price is also in an uptrend, hitting a yearly high of $2.42. While it’s down slightly by 17% (to $2), forecasts generally agree it can surpass $4 by 2025.
Tron Founder Restarts TRON Foundation Amid SEC Trial
Controversial TRON founder Justin Sun has been in the headlines lately. The pending case the young entrepreneur has against the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is the most pertinent.
The saga began in March 2023 when the stern US regulator initiated a lawsuit against Sun, SouljaBoy, and Austin Mahone for so-called undisclosed advertising payments and potential manipulation of the TRON and BTT tokens.
Sun remains the only person yet to deal with the SEC, missing two court appearances in 2023. Despite this, Sun has revived the then-dissolved TRON Foundation based out of Singapore. No one knows if Sun will appear before a court this year. For now, a unification of defendant pleas is set for February 16, 2024.
Despite reaching a 2024 high of $0.117, TRON is down 8.55%, trading at $0.107. However, estimates predict it can hit a minimum of $0.30 by 2025.
