The introduction of the Node Nation SV project in El Salvador’s schools marks a remarkable stage in the integration of bitcoin into the country’s daily life and economy. This project, driven by the National Bitcoin Office and supported by the Ministry of Education, aims to teach students the technical skills needed to code, configure, operate and manage the liquidity of a Lightning node.

Through this educational program, young Salvadorans will not only become familiar with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, but will also acquire technical knowledge in a field that is gaining relevance in the Central American financial sector.
Training in Lightning network node management will enable students to actively participate in the support and development of the bitcoin network, promoting fast, inexpensive and secure transactions.
