This innovation has been possible only thanks to the new partnership with Binance Pay and the fintech Lyzi.

In practice, Printemps wins the primacy as the European department store to accept payments in cryptocurrency.

Printemps accepts crypto payments with Lizy and Binance Pay: how does the process work?

Going into more detail, it is easy to understand how the crypto payment process works for purchasing products in Printemps.

In practice, to make a payment with cryptocurrency, customers can simply scan a QR code at the checkout with their Binance app. Here, they can then select their preferred cryptocurrency and confirm the transaction.

The process is completed in a few seconds, offering an easy-to-use option for customers looking for a simple and fast crypto payment option.

On the other hand, then, on Lizy, the cryptocurrency payments of Printemps customers in France are converted into euros, protecting the retailer from the typical volatility of the crypto sector.

Users will therefore be able to use Binance Pay on Lizy to pay in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and other cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins like EURI and USDC, gaining a new level of flexibility in payments.

In this regard, Damien Patureaux, CEO of Lyzi, stated:

“This partnership allows Printemps to offer a cutting-edge payment solution that aligns with the ever-evolving needs of today’s digital consumers. We are proud to support Printemps in enhancing the shopping experience to strengthen its position as a leader in retail innovation and the future of commerce.”
