You are currently viewing Grayscale and NYSE File for Solana ETF: Is the Next Altcoin Bull Run Loading?

Crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are among the major talking points as we anticipate developments in the crypto industry by 2025. Many altcoins are looking forward to their spot ETF approvals from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). One of them is Solana (SOL), which recently got its Solana ETF filing sent to the SEC by Grayscale and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSC).

The expectation of a Solana ETF and a new altcoin season has caused a massive increase in the demand for SOL among investors. Consequently, SOL’s price has seen decent gains in the past weeks. However, it doesn’t compare to Rollblock, a new casino token that has already returned over 200% gains to its early investors despite raising over $7 million during its presale. Is Rollblock poised for better gains than SOL this altcoin season? Let’s find out.

Asset managers are bullish on Solana ETF

Donald Trump’s re-election in November sparked renewed interest in digital assets, especially cryptocurrencies. More retail and institutional investors are bullish on established altcoins like SOL, causing the Solana price to increase by over 27% in the past month, crossing $260 in the process.

Though the SOL price saw a dip in late November, it should be back up in early January, following the spot Solana ETF filing by asset managers Grayscale and the NYSC. Grayscale filed to convert its Solana Trust (GSOL) worth $120 million into spot Solana ETF listed on NYSE Arca. Interestingly, that would be the fifth asset manager filing a Solana ETF request with the SEC, as experts predict an imminent altcoin bull run.

Solana fails to sustain momentum despite gains

The Solana price is up by about 27% in the past month, but the token has been experiencing declines over the past few weeks. The dip has seen the SOL price fall from around $260 to just over $230 between late November and early December 2024.

Though investors and experts are optimistic with their Solana price predictions due to the coin’s ETF approval, its current price swings make it unlikely to reach a predicted new all-time high of $1,000 by 2025.

Rollblock shows investors a glimpse of the future

While there are doubts about SOL and its potential, Rollblock has already kept investors’ fears at bay with its successful crypto presale. The new casino token has raised over $7 million as it prepares for its full launch in 2025. Plus, early Rollblock investors have already seen significant gains on their investments even during the presale.

These opportunities and the project’s exciting features have caused a massive interest in the Rollblock token. The GambleFi nature of the online casino particularly excites players and investors, who fancy it for its real-money gaming experience and opportunities for decentralized finance (DeFi) investments.

For context, Rollblock offers its token holders access to DeFi staking, with up to 30% annual percentage yield (APY) in rewards. This is a low-risk avenue to earn passive income without having to play games or lose money to bets. Holders can also augment their earnings by getting weekly bonuses through the Rollblock revenue-sharing program.

Conclusion

The Rollblock presale is in stage 9, presenting a limited-time opportunity for investors to buy the coins at a discounted rate of $0.041 before it increases in the next stage(s).
