- XRP experienced a strong rally, rising nearly 500% from mid-November to early December, with analysts staying bullish for the long term amid a healthy token structure.
- CrediBULL predicts XRP could surge to $22 by early 2025, marking a 784% increase from its current price.
With Ripple’s RLUSD Launch today, analysts are turning more bullish on the XRP price. Popular crypto analyst CrediBULL Crypto has projected that XRP’s market capitalization could reach $1.2 trillion during the current bull cycle, which could extend into next year. Sharing his insights on X, CrediBULL analyzed the token’s recent price movements and potential for long-term growth.
“Zoom out a little so you don’t forget the big picture,” the analyst noted. “Structure on XRP here looks so freaking clean and bullish, it’s actually insane. Forget what happens on these lower timeframes—it’s noise (for a non-trader), big picture is incredibly and unequivocally bullish af.”
Recent XRP Price Movements
XRP price had an impressive rally from mid-November to early December. The price went up nearly 500% in the process. It hit a resistance point at $2.87, which caused its upward momentum to slow down. For the last fortnight, XRP has been struggling to hold onto the $2 mark. It dipped to $1.90 briefly before moving back to its current price of $2.71, which was recorded on Tuesday, December 17.
Despite this period of consolidation, CrediBULL clarified that the XRP price’s structure remains healthy. This is a part of some natural cycle that non-traders should avoid focusing their attention on.
“The big picture is incredibly and unequivocally bullish,” CrediBULL reiterated. He added that, given the asset’s historical behavior, there is consolidation beforehand to big moves upwards, and it supports his belief in the XRP price.
CrediBULL’s analysis suggests that XRP could reach a price of $22 by early 2025 or possibly during the second quarter, reported CNF. This projection implies an approximate 784% surge from its current value. At this price point, XRP’s market cap would surpass $1.26 trillion, a notable milestone.
The analyst pointed out that XRP is still in the early stages of a much larger market cycle, backed by its higher time frame (TF) impulsive structure. “As always with these charts, time and price not necessarily to scale,” he wrote. The analyst explained that his projections aim to provide context rather than precise timelines.
Technical Analysis vs. External Factors
When discussing possible external drivers, such as the upcoming RLUSD stablecoin or even interest rate movements, CrediBULL insisted that these are impossible to estimate within the price calls. He stated that these factors would most probably create buying momentum but continued that technical analysis was way more reliable than individual drivers.
Charts help in guiding market expectations, he explained. However, he added that they do take into account all the variables that could impact the token’s price trajectory. Thus, he advises investors to navigate the market step by step, focusing on the overall structure rather than reacting to individual events.
