Solana has now moved up in value in response to the Bitcoin price finally moving past its long-held resistance of $110K. However, another reason behind Solana’s uptick is the announcement of Hong Kong’s first Solana ETF.
Launching on October 27th, the ChimaAMC Solana ETF will make its way to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This will mark Asia’s first Solana ETF and indicates that the cryptocurrency market is now gaining massive acceptance.
Is Solana the best crypto to buy now with this news, or should investors still focus on diversifying?
Asia’s First Solana ETF: Sign that the East is Getting More Receptive
The recent approval of the Solana ETF by the Hong Kong leadership, soon after the approval of Ethereum and Bitcoin ETFs, shows that Asia is now ready to diversify its cryptocurrency interests. With the announcement of the ETF comes the consolidation of institutional-grade infrastructure for crypto-based exchange-traded funds, and with the approval comes the realization that those who were once crypto skeptics may soon change their tune.
What makes this approval even more noteworthy is the fact that the US SEC, in contrast, continues to stall Solana ETF applications. For instance, VanEck and 21Shares are still waiting for approval.
And it is not only Hong Kong taking advantage of this regulatory friction. Brazil and Canada are also outpacing the US, with Canada launching four Solana ETFs in April and Brazil making its first Solana ETF debut in 2024.
With the massive institutional support coming in, it is clear that Solana could be featured on many “best crypto to buy now” lists.
Solana Price Action: Price Surging, Wallet Addresses Hitting New Highs
The Solana price has recently moved past the $190 mark thanks to an over 5% increase in the last 24 hours. Its trading volume has gone down, indicating users’ tendency to hold, and the token’s market cap is just above $104 billion.

The hourly chart shows that there has been a string of green candles since the SOL price bounce on October 22, with $193, $197, and $200 acting as crucial resistance levels for the token. As long as the Solana price is able to stay above the $189 mark, it is possible for the token to establish an uptrend. A drop from this point, however, could cause the “people’s crypto” to find support around $178.
Most analysts have a positive view of the current price action. Recently, analyst Ozzy revealed that the current setup is the best one since February 14th of this year.

According to Glassnode, Solana’s wallet addresses have reached a monthly high.
Does that mean Solana is the best crypto to buy now? The answer is not that simple. While there is a reason for long-term investors to dive in, short-term profit seekers should consider alternative investments since Solana’s price action has not been parabolic.
Best Crypto to Buy Now as Solana Grows More Relevant
Hong Kong’s approval of the Solana ETF at a time when the US itself is stalling on the matter means the world is now ready for diversified crypto investments. In this circumstance, the following options could be considered top crypto picks for most investors.
Snorter
Although the approval of the Solana ETF has played a major role in driving Solana’s recent price growth, it is Solana’s meme coin ecosystem that has long been the real engine behind its development. Among the most promising of these is Snorter, a Solana-based meme coin that combines humor with high-functioning utility through its automated trading bot system.

Snorter allows users to execute fast swaps, set limit orders, and mirror successful trading strategies via Telegram while offering one of the lowest transaction fees in the market at just 0.85%. It also features honeypot and rug-pull protection, MEV and front-running safeguards, and social trading tools that help investors stay ahead of the curve.
The presale for Snorter has officially concluded, drawing more than 16,000 investors. However, due to overwhelming demand, and more than half a million dollars raised in the final week alone, the developers decided to extend the presale until October 27th, giving new participants a final opportunity to buy tokens at the listing price.
Snorter’s appeal extends beyond functionality. Its clever mascot, an aardvark with a monocle and confident grin, captures the project’s personality perfectly: intelligent, bold, and a little irreverent. It stands out as a new meme icon capable of joining the ranks of classic figures like Doge and Pepe while offering tangible value through its tech-driven ecosystem.
